The Everbilt 3/4 in. PTC x 3/4 in. FIP x 18 in. Braided Stainless Steel Water Heater Connector is designed for the fast and simple installation of hot and cold water lines to water heaters. After applying pipe thread tape to the MNPT nipples on your water heater, thread the FNPT end of the Water Heater connector onto the tank and tighten with pliers. Then simply push the Push-To-Connect end onto Copper, PEX, or CPVC pipes and your water heater is connected.. PVC inner core will not crack or dry rot over time. Simply connects to copper, CPVC or PEX for water heater installs. Ideal for potable water and hydronic heating applications. Constructed of lead free dezincification resistant (DZR) brass and braided stainless steel for superior reliability and strength. Push-to-connect joints require no heat, solder, solvents or tools. Push-to-connect design allows for a simple and fast installation of water heaters to any combination of copper, PEX, CPVC or PE-RT pipe. Fittings can be rotated after being installed for ease of use in tight spaces. Corrosion resistant for greater longevity. Meets UPC, IPC and cUPC standard requirements and listed by IAPMO and listed to ASSE 1061/NSF 58. Demount clip allows for valve removal (included).
